The Pareto Principle

"The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes."

Your remote users and branch offices typically represent 20% of your IT infrastructure, but consume about 80% of your operational costs and complexity. The complexity arises from the unpredictability of how to ensure users in these locations can get online and access all the resources and advanced services they need in a secure manner and in a way that scales, as more and more locations are needed to accommodate the ever-increasing distributed network. Enter Pareto.

Pareto was founded on the principle that the network needed to be and could be much simpler. We set out to create a solution that would make networking easy to deploy, use and manage - removing the "voodoo" and technical expertise that seemed to always accompany any new network roll out or change. The goal was to eliminate the costs associated with network integration and the complexity that has traditionally accompanied managing the distributed enterprise network. Our goal is to significantly lower the distributed network's total cost of ownership.

We've developed the Cloud-based networking concept, which leverages the scale and economies of the Cloud to change the networking paradigm – reducing costs and complexity, while maximizing control.
