Pareto BG-100 Branch Gateway

The Pareto BG-100 Branch Gateway delivers on-demand, secure WAN connectivity to teleworker, temporary network, retail store, kiosk and remote call center environments. Completely managed by Pareto Cloud Services, the BG-100 provides firewall, site-to-site SSL VPN, standards-based Enterprise AAA, 802.1X and Captive Portal authentication. The Pareto Networks BG-100 combines the simplicity of SSL VPNs with the control of traditional firewall/VPN and access point solutions to deliver the industry’s lowest TCO for home and branch office networks.

Teleworker

The BG-100 is ideal for teleworker environments with its compact design. It supports a mix of broadband connection types such as DSL, Cable and Metro Ethernet. Unlike SSL VPN solutions, the BG-100 delivers a fully controlled remote network environment with the quality-of-service and visibility and reporting features required for virtual office environments. Pareto’s patent pending on-demand provisioning— enables a non-IT employee to install the device in 10 minutes, without the support of the helpdesk or central IT. Pareto Cloud Services also provides out-of-band remote troubleshooting—making it easy to for the helpdesk to diagnose problems without requiring end-user assistance.

Kiosk

The BG-100 is perfect for providing secured, VPN connectivity for remote kiosk terminals and other network-based devices. Support for 3G WWAN connectivity, also enables remote network connectivity when there is no wired Ethernet connection.

Retail VPN

The BG-100 can replace dialup connections for point-of-sale transactions at retail locations. Wired Ethernet or 3G WWAN connectivity provides flexibility for low-cost broadband access while still meeting payment card industry (PCI) compliance. The integrated WLAN also supports multiple SSIDs for guest access, and enables mobile retail device support such as card readers, IP cameras and scanners available— greatly simplifying WWAN deployments.

Temporary Networks

With automatic, touchless provisioning the Pareto BG-100 provides an ideal solution for setting up temporary networks. Whether it’s a trade show, a construction site or an emergency location, the BG-100 can be provisioned in minutes provides immediate, secured IP connectivity to remote users on demand.

Virtual Call Center Agents

The BG-100 can support virtual call center environments that require high-quality IP communications. The BG-100 supports standard VoIP handsets from leading vendors including Avaya and Cisco and enables four-digit dialing for remote employees.
