Pareto BG-200 Branch Gateway

The Pareto BG-200 Branch Gateway delivers on-demand, secure WAN connectivity to teleworker, temporary network, retail store ad remote call center agent environments that require multiple connectivity options for multi-user environments. Completely managed by Pareto Cloud Services, the BG-200 provides firewall, site-to-site SSL VPN, standards-based Enterprise AAA, 802.1X and Captive Portal authentication. The BG-200 also has dynamic quality-of-service (QoS) feature to deliver high-quality unified communications to remote users. The BG-200 integrates with leading Security-as-a-Service vendors, such as McAfee, to deliver URL filtering, anti-malware and anti-phishing protection on demand to ensure you have accelerated access to SaaS and Cloud applications and can achieve optimal security, compliance and data center bandwidth usage. The BG-200 also supports 3G WWAN connectivity via its integrated USB port.

Teleworker

The BG-200 is ideal for teleworker environments that require connectivity for multiple client devices. It supports a mix of broadband connection types such as DSL, Cable and Metro Ethernet. Unlike SSL VPN solutions, the BG-200 delivers a fully controlled remote network environment with the quality-of-service and visibility and reporting features required for virtual office environments. Pareto’s patent pending one-click provisioning—enables a non-IT employee to install the device in just minutes, without the support of the helpdesk or central IT. Pareto Cloud Services also provides out-of-band remote troubleshooting—making it easy to for the helpdesk to diagnose problems without requiring end-user assistance.

Retail VPN

The BG-200 can replace dialup connections for point-of-sale transactions at retail locations. Multiple wired Ethernet ports or 3G WWAN connectivity provides flexibility for low-cost broadband access while still meeting payment card industry (PCI) compliance requirements. The integrated WLAN also supports multiple SSIDs for guest access, and enables mobile retail device support such as card readers, IP cameras and scanners.

Temporary Networks

With automatic, one-click provisioning the Pareto BG-200 provides an ideal, cost-effective solution for setting up temporary networks. Whether it’s a trade show, a construction site, a mobile workgroup or an emergency response location, the BG-200 can be provisioned in minutes provides immediate, secured IP connectivity to remote users on demand.
