Pareto Cloud Services takes the complexity out of managing your distributed network and reporting on its activity. Built from the ground up as a multi-tenant, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, Pareto Cloud Services provide you with a highly resilient, globally hosted, and secure operations platform.

Unlike legacy solutions that require a variety of different management applications to keep your network up and running, you can access the centralized management console from any Web browser and manage all the networking, security and application aspects of your distributed network. There is no need to install management systems or controllers in the data center, eliminating much of the complexity typically associated with managing and maintaining the network.

With a real-time, searchable and auditable log database, you have complete insight and control over what is going on in your distributed network. This centralized control and repository not only simplifies ongoing management and the consistent application of policies, but also assists with security incident investigations and regulatory compliance requirements.

Multi-tenant Kernel

Pareto Cloud Services is based on a multi-tenant architecture that makes it more secure, reliable, and elastic than any other Cloud-based management platform. Pareto’s customers run on a fully shared infrastructure, which creates economies of scale not possible with single-tenant applications, whether they’re hosted on premises or in the Cloud. In a single-tenant environment, every new stack must be separately provisioned, managed, and scaled. In a multi-tenant environment, it’s possible to easily, and cost-effectively scale the network with just a few clicks.

Economies of Scale

Single-tenancy has dis-economies of scale. As the application load grows, the provider has to spend more time and money adding infrastructure and less time focusing on delivering new applications. In a multi-tenant environment, costs decrease as usage grows, letting the service provider invest in innovation and customer success.

PCS eliminates the need to install management systems or controllers in the data center by centralizing all network configuration, real-time searchable audit logs, and granular role-based administration.

Remote Troubleshoot Without a VPN

PCS delivers out-of-band management for all Branch Services Gateways enabling central IT and the Helpdesk to troubleshoot without requiring an active VPN tunnel. On-demand remote ping and traceroute functions provide remote visibility no matter where the device is located.

Automated Backup and Recovery

Network configurations are stored securely in PCS guaranteeing a complete backup is available at any time. Pareto’s streamlined RMA process provides plug-and-play device replacement with out requiring the support of central IT.

Sandbox Environment

Create sandbox copies of your network environments for development, testing, and training without compromising the data and applications in your production environment. Sandboxes are completely isolated from your Pareto Networks production organization, so anything you do in sandbox will not affect your production configurations, and vice-versa.

Real-time Upgrades

Pareto releases new versions on a quarterly basis. Updates are made available within the administrative console as soon as they become available. New releases and updates can be tested in the Sandbox environment before being fully deployed into production.

Pareto Networks CloudConnect™ API

Integrate with your on-premise apps or other Cloud services using Pareto’s CloudConnect XML API. The API enables direct management of devices, including device ordering & provisioning.

High Availability

PCS is hosted in redundant availability zones to ensure the highest levels of availability. In the unlikely event of a failure in the PCS infrastructure, Pareto Networks devices would continue to function without interruption of service.
