Everything sent through the distributed enterprise network is protected, and all data is encrypted - from any end-point to the data center, from Pareto to any customers or third party Cloud service providers.

- Physical Security - Pareto data centers that house the Pareto Cloud Services leverage state-of-the art physical security, ranging from nondescript facilities to video surveillance, from intrusion detection systems to two-factor authentication at multiple access points.
- Pareto Cloud Security - Only customers have access to their Web management console and Pareto provides a complete firewall solution to control access in and out of the Cloud.
- Network Security - Pareto uses best-in-class technologies to protect against a broad range of network security incidents and maintains internal bandwidth which exceeds its provider supplied bandwidth to provide additional protection against Standard Denial of Service (DDoS) and Distributed DoS attacks.

As a multi-tenant, Cloud-based solution, Pareto has visibility into large amounts of abstracted network data, which it uses to monitor and identify potential security issues as they present. Pareto uses industry-leading vulnerability management tools to perform security audits after every release and provides proactive remediation as appropriate. Pareto constantly monitors Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and open source mailing lists to track all potential security issues. Pareto also provides customers the option to integrate with Cloud-based Security-as-a-Service providers such as McAfee to get real-time security updates.
